On Friday, I participated in the School Strike for Climate NZ. There was a great turnout and there were people of all ages marching and chanting along, some still in their school uniforms. It was particularly inspiring to be among so many pacific islanders. Many island nations are already suffering from some of the worst effects of climate change and, if sea levels rise higher, will most likely be underwater if the world refuses to adapt.
