Sailing!

I have been taking a sailing course Saturdays for the last 4 weeks through the Auckland Sailing Club and it has been a blast! We learned some knots, how to rig up our boats, tacking, jibing, and today we got to try out a gennaker sail. I am proud to say we only capsized once and it was on purpose to learn how to turn our boat back upright. Lewis, our fearless leader, was a great coach and made every day fun, as did the other six people who took the class. Overall, it was wonderful to make some new friends from all over the world and learn something new in the process.
