Day 2: Aoraki/Mt. Cook National Park

We woke up to find the most beautiful views from our camping spot!


Next we drove to the national park where we did the Hooker Valley walk. Swing bridges and nicely formed trails lead you to a glacial lake compete with ice sculptures and mountain views. Even though it was just our first full day, this was one of my favorite stops on our entire trip!

After our hike we also saw Tasman Glacier, then drove to Lake Hawea Hostel in Wanaka where we would spend two full nights.
